Welcome to our Food Assembly. Every week you'll find great products direct from our lovely local producers - all from within a 40 mile radius. Whether you're after locally sourced regulars like vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs, dairy products, honey and jam, or something more unusual, you can find it all in our Assembly. Come and meet the producers and enjoy a new way to eat well while supporting local agriculture. Buy online from Tuesday to Monday and pop along to collect your goodies from the Green Hut at the Green House Hotel every Wednesday evening. We're looking forward to meeting you :-).

Our Assembly is part of the Sustainable Food City Partnership for Bournemouth and Poole, a non profit making organisation. This means all the profit we make from selling food to you is used to support our work combatting food poverty and supporting food projects across the towns. So, by shopping with us you not only eat well, you also do good. Perfect!

Why join The Food Assembly?

  • Eat the most delicious and freshest food in your area. Locally sourced and more transparent, the average distance of food travelled is only 28 miles!
  • No commitment to buy and joining is free. Sharing recipes and cooking tips with your neighbours is just an extra bonus.
  • Our food producers are passionate about growing and making your food, that's why we pay them over 80% for their work, in comparison to 20-50% from supermarkets.
  • We are about real people and real food: when you pick up your order, you get to connect with your community and food in a healthier way.
